5 out of 5 stars wow   January 6, 2009
The peron i purchased this item from sent it in a speedy fashion. The book itself was incredibly hard to put down. From the firt page I wa hooked and again i was all over the world and hanging on to every word typed by dickey on the page. You will not regret uying this book. I dont want to give out any of the detail becaue everything matters but you will not regret your purchase. :)

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed...   January 6, 2009
I didn't enjoy this book at all. The only reason why I finished it was because I had the first two books in the Gideon Trilogy on my mind and they were really good so I thought this one had to get better. Dying for Revenge has nothing on the first two. There was a couple of interesting parts but since most of the book was blah, the highlights were overshadowed. It was so hard for me to get through it. It took me about 3 weeks to finish it and it never takes me that long to finish a book. The length of books don't bother me unless they're boring and this was. It would've been shorter if there wasn't so many unnecessary descriptions. Also, he brought back those run on and fragmented/one word sentences in full force (but I think I'm the only one that bothers). I don't know what his next book is going to be but I really hope he comes a lot better than this.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome   January 6, 2009
Very fast read. Action, romance, lust, lies, death...It has everything and more. Great read....Dying for Revenge did not disappoint me at all. It completely tied into the previous two books. EJ Dickey please keep them coming. I love Gideon. And the way he describes Antigua...magnificent!!! I went there for my honeymoon!!! He did an excellent job of making it come alive.

5 out of 5 stars I Love Gideon   January 5, 2009
Well Gideon is back in all his upside-down, kill or be killed glory. I love the character Gideon...I don't know what it is but I just can't seem to get enough of him. Even though he's a vicious killer, I just adore him. I liked the introduction of all the new characters but I did miss Lola and Miss J. Hopefully they'll be back in his life one day. I'm really over the pinning for Arizona....if she don't want you Gideon I'll take you.lol I know this was a trilogy and that means 3 but I can only hope that this is not the end of Gideon. The character is too deliciously mesmerizing, sexy and endearing. You just want to take him home, give him hugs and kisses and pray you don't get on his bad side.lol Gideon has the potential to be a long term character like James Bond, Jason Bourne, Eazy Rawlins.....I hope anyway. Question...did anybody else pick up on Gideon's animosity about being called a murderer? I found that curious and engaging....he's a contract killer but doesn't consider himself or want to be called a murderer....a lot of food for thought with that one.
NEWays...another excellent book from my favorite author.

5 out of 5 stars Eric, has done it again!! Third time is always the charm!   January 5, 2009
Where do I start? The book is awesome from beginning to end. All the twists and turns will keep you on your feet and wanting more. I love the way the author makes you feel like you are in the book with the characters. He is very descriptive. The book gives a different plot than the normal, boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy, etc. In this book there is full of adventure, mystery, love, anticipation, hate, revenge, emotions, and deception!!!!! Simply put, I love the book!! Hope to see a part 4.
