 Nice quality, but opals need more color and fire December 23, 2007

For the price of these earrings I expected the opals to have tons of fire and color. One of the opals is quite nice but the other definitely needs more fire and color. The setting is very nice however and the diamonds used in the earrings are of very good quality. The packaging was also very nice and present a lovely gift.

I purchsed these for my mother for her birthday, and now I want to buy a second pair for myself. My brother bought her the matching pendant. They are really superb. I have looked at many opal peices in Jewelry stores, and haven't seen quality that even came close to this for anywhere near this price. The price is what got me to place the order, but the quality is what has convinced me to buy another pair for myself.
