Description Daniel O'Donnell shares the sights and sounds of his homeland in this wonderful concert special filmed at the Letterkenny Performance Hall in county Donegal. Journey to breathtaking Ireland and visit some of Daniel's favorite locations where he performs renditions of "Destination Donegal," "Belfast," "Dear Old Galway Town" and many more. Daniel also sings an array of country and traditional pop favorites and performs the chart-topping duet "Save Your Love" with long-time singing partner Mary Duff.

Great addition to your CD collection December 6, 2008 This collection features several new songs that Daniel had never recorded. He does a wonderful rendition of "Try a Little Kindness" and other country standards. Mary Duff also contributes to this awesome collection!
Not so good October 9, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
My opinion about Daniel O'Donnell is a mixed one. I love many of his songs, yet many other songs also sung by him bore me to death. He may sound sweet and gentle and soothing, but he may also sound bland and untalented, which is really strange. Now on DVDs he looks fine when he was filmed outdoors, but on stage he is absolutely horrible. The way he moves and his gestures are so effeminate and irritating I couldn't bear looking. Why couldn't the guy just walk instead of jumping in small steps like a little girl? What on earth did he dip his knees in the middle of a song for? No wonder there were few men in the audience, and none of them smiled. They must have been bullied by their wives into coming to the show. Now I know Daniel is better heard than seen. I will continue listen to his music, but seeing him on stage is a big no for me. Sorry, Daniel.
This is GREAT!!! September 28, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I loved it!!1 It was all I expected and more!! The B.C. Story made me laugh so hard.
I thought it was wonderful of Daniel to honor his momma. I loved it when he went out in the audience and sat next to her and sang Happy Birthday to her. Then I thought it was great of him to give her the gold record plaque for the album that inckuded the song he made from a poem she wrote. "My Island Home." The first time I heard the poem was in the "Christmas with Faniel" release. His momma read it on that one.
I also loved the scenes Ireland. They showed what a beautiful country Ireland is.
Mary Duff was wonderful as always. She was great with Daniel and on her own.
I loved every minute of this DVd!! I would buy his dvd's again and I would use Amazon again.
