 Timeless Music for all Ages December 25, 2008
What? you expect me to buy a CD recorded a few years earlier? Yes, yes..indeed, because the lyrical lilting Irish songs as presented by the Irish songbird, Meav are still as beautiful, if not more. Her dulcet tones void of straining, just plesantly flowing from her voice- her chosen avocation- will delight any listener any time any place. Meav has done several albums and you will do well to own one of more of them. This one will be one you will play for encore listenings-your stress will be non-existent just in case you had stress when you pushed the play button. Order some for friends as I did. C S
Music that takes you away August 9, 2008
Meave's voice is so sweet and angelic that you are taken away from the cares of the world for awhile. A chance to listen to her indivual talents is a must for any Celtic fan.

THIS CD IS APPROPRIATELY TITLED. IT TRULY IS A JOURNEY INTO CELTIC MUSIC. IT SHOWS MEAVE NOT ONLY AS A TALENTED SINGER, BUT A WRITER. HER SOFT VOICE AND THE HAUNTING CELTIC MELODIES CREATE A UNIQUE EXPERENCE FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY CELTIC MUSIC.
A Journey Worth Taking March 8, 2008
Meav, of course, is best known as the beautiful blonde soprano, late of Celtic Woman, who has developed a huge fan base that will continue to partake of her every musical offering. If that offering is of the quality displayed in "A Celtic Journey", then we have much to look foward to from her. Listeners will recognize several of the songs from her performance of them with Celtic Woman. All bear the stamp of her lovely and distinctive voice. These are traditional songs to which we are indebted to Celtic Woman for preserving and packaging so beautifully for introduction into the 21st Century to listeners perhaps unaware of their long traditions, yet who may come to love them anew. We thank you, Meav, for that and for what you may yet bring to us.

I have not only bought several of their CDs, I have also gotten to see them in concert. These performers are wonderful. I hope they come out with a Christmas show some time. It would start my season on a wonderful note.
